Spacious and comfortable chalet in the ski area of Portes du Soleil. It is classified officially with 4 stars and has an open fire place, a sauna and WiFi internet access. The chalet is located on a beautiful and south facing position on a hillside that offers unspoilt views over the Savoyian Alps. The free ski bus runs every 20/30 minutes, the bus stop is only ~110m away from the chalet. On the first floor you find the spacious living-/dining area with panoramic windows and access to the balcony. Fully equipped high-quality open plan kitchen. Each of the four bedrooms has an "en suite" bathroom. Two bedrooms (double bed each) are located on the ground floor, the two bedrooms with four beds each are located on the top floor. There is a big private car park in front of the house. Freeride-Ski slope from Crêtes du Mont Chéry -depending on whether and snow conditions- down to the Chalet possible and further down from the chalet to the chair lift "Perrières Express" (both are no marked or prepared ski runs, use at own risk). The village centre of Les Gets is approx. 1,5 km away. Les Gets has several restaurants and various shops, Après-Ski-bars, clubs, and the Museum for mechanical music. Les Gets is a member of the network "Alpine Pearls", a network that was formed by holiday destinations from several alpine countries to develop enviromental friendly and sustainable ways of tourism.     Location description Les Gets im weltbekannten Skigebiet Portes du Soleil gleicht einem "Bilderbuch-Feriendorf", inmitten von Almwiesen und meist sanften bewaldeten Bergen; von den Höhen aus hat man einen faszinierenden Ausblick auf den Mont Blanc. Hier legt man Wert auf alte Traditionen, einen gastfreundlichen Empfang und qualitative hochwertigen Service. Das Dorf besteht überwiegend aus Chalets aus Naturstein und Holz; es hat seinen ursprünglichen Charakter weitgehend bewahrt. Das riesige, perfekt verbundene Skigebiet lässt Skifahrerherzen höher schlagen und bietet vielseitige Pisten für alle Ansprüche. Von den meisten Unterkünften ist es nur ein "Katzensprung" zum nöchsten Lift, oft kann man bis vor die Haustüre abfahren. Les Getssteht für Schneevergnügen pur inmitten der Portes du Soleil. Außerdem bietet Les Gets einige interessante historische und kulturelle Attraktionen. Als familiengeeigneter Wintersportort ist Les Gets mit dem frz. Label "P'tits Montagnards" ausgezeichnet, das heißt, dass die Kleinen hier wie wahre Schneekönige behandelt werden.
