The luxurious chalet (350m2) has 5 bedrooms with double bed and en-suite bathroom and a lounge with sofa bed for two more people. The chalet has an exclusive living and dining area with fireplace. On the ground floor there is a spa area with sauna and steam bath. The terrace and balcony offer a beautiful view of the north face of the Eiger. Wifi and 2 garage parking spaces are included in the rental price. Pets are welcome, smoking in the house is not allowed. 10 minutes by car from the village center, 10 minutes walk from the train station Grindelwald Grund and station Grindelwald Terminal, a bus stop is nearby. It is world famous for its backdrop of snow-covered mountains including the Wetterhorn, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. In summer, some 500 kilometers of well-marked walking, hiking and mountain trails wait to be explored. En route you will find you’ll find rustic mountain restaurants offering a wide selection of good food, ideal spots to take a relaxing break. The region has many other summer activities to enjoy, such as 120 kilometers of marked mountain-biking routes, paragliding, bungee jumping in the glacier gorge, scooter bike run, summer roller-sledge run, First cliff walk and much more. In winter, 45 mountain railways, aerial cableways and ski lifts offer an invitation to enjoy great fun in the Jungfrau Region. The tree areas of, Grindelwald-First, Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen and Mürren-Schilthorn offer over 200 kilometers of pistes, with a choice of thrilling or easy downhill runs. Non-skiers are well created for with 100 kilometers of winter-walking trails. The region is also a paradise for sledding fans. The 15-kilometre sledge run from the Faulhorn summit down to Grindelwald is the longest in the Alps. And there’s plenty more snow sport on offer in the Jungfrau Region, including snowshoe tours, cross country skiing and ice sport.
