Description : High on the hillside, surrounded by trees, you will find this detached, child-friendly and luxuriously furnished chalet. The chalet is located at the end of the road, so there is no transit traffic. The location is ideal, near the valley station of the Riesneralm. A gentle mountain stream flows down the back as well as the side of the chalet.
The chalet is built in harmony with the surroundings and offers a lot of privacy. There is an atmospheric Alpine character with lots of space and luxury. On the ground floor you will find a heated room for the ski equipment, as well as the washing and drying facilities. The living room is modern and tastefully decorated, with a cozy dining area and fully equipped open kitchen. The youngest guests have also been considered! There is a separate children's corner, where the children can enjoy themselves with board games, a film or a videogame. In the summer the children can enjoy themselves outside on the trampoline.
On the first floor there are four spacious bedrooms with a comfortable double box spring bed. There is a very large, luxurious bathroom with double bath, double washbasin and toilet. The wellness area on the ground floor has a spacious sauna, double shower and double washbasin. Here you can fully relax after an active day in the mountains.
On both sides of the chalet there is a garden set, so you can sit in the Austrian sun in the morning as well as in the afternoon. There is a terrace with spacious lounge set, where you can fully enjoy the tranquillity and the magnificent view over the picturesque village of Donnersbachwald.
In the winter months, a thick blanket of snow turns the Donnersbachtal valley into a real winter fairy tale. You can choose from two snow-assured ski areas with a total of around 50 km of pistes, the Riesneralm and the Planneralm. The Planneralm is Styria's highest ski village! If you are staying with children, the Riesneralm with its own 'children's ski area' is highly recommended. The multi-day Skipass Schneebären is valid for the areas Planneralm, Riesneralm, Loser & Tauplitz. Would you like to experience something other than skiing? Then pay a visit to the natural toboggan run near the Mörsbachalm. Do you like cross-country skiing more? A short distance from the chalet you can get on the cross-country ski trails.
In the summer months you will also find a versatile holiday destination here. There is a challenging 3D archery course, the E-Enduro Bike Park, mountain bike trails, you can fly-fish and the unique "Gipfel" swimming pool at an altitude of no less than 1900 metres! A heated swimming pool at the top of Mount Riesnerkrispen (1922m) with 360 degree panoramic views.
Special features;
Due to construction works in the vicinity of your accommodation there may be nuisance in the period from April to November. For this reason the prices are extra favorable.
Remarks : Charging an electric car at the vacation home is not possible and not allowed.

COVID-19 Conditions:
- 2 weeks before arrival we assess the travel situation. If it appears that in the 2 weeks before arrival new measures will be taken, we will wait for the official announcement. We have chosen for a standard of 2 weeks before arrival, because the situation is very unstable at the moment.
- We will refund your money in the event of a ban on entering the region where the holiday home you have booked is located.
- If we are going to rebook your holiday in another period, we will ensure that the amount already paid (in advance) is transferred to the new booking. Possible settlements will also take place immediately.
- If we have to cancel your holiday, you will receive your money back on your account within one week.
So you can book your holiday with us without worries. In case Villa for You can deliver the holiday but you want to cancel, the standard cancellation conditions apply.
- For each every guest, not having a 'Corona passport' (European digital COVID certificate)at the moment this is required to travel to the concerning destination or to stay in the holiday home, is not a valid reason to cancel free of charge.
- Despite the Corona passport, each country remains responsible for setting its own entry requirements and rules, which are not standardised at EU level. This means that in addition to the Corona passport, additional rules may apply to your stay, such as the validity period of your vaccination or the requirement for an additional (booster) vaccination. These extra rules are also not a valid reason for cancelling your stay free of charge.
- Quarantine measures are also not a valid reason to cancel free of charge. Villa for You states (based on the information currently available) that it is possible for everyone to meet the requirements for travelling.
Villa for You is not responsible for unavoidable or extraordinary circumstances before or during your booked holiday period as a result of (adjusted) Corona measures, unless these measures are about a ban on entry in the region where the holiday home you have booked is located.
