A ski pass for L'espace Dent-Blanche gives you the opportunity to explore three ski areas: Evolene, La Forclaz and Arolla. Prices for a 6-day pass: CHF 224 for adults, CHF 173 for persons between 16 and 20 years and persons over 65 years, CHF 144 for children (6 to 15 years). Parking for 3 cars in front of the house. The chalet is reachable by bus from Sion, bus stop is nearby. Geneva and Zurich airports offer train connections to Sion. A car is not needed to enjoy your stay in Evolène. However, if you would like to explore surrounding areas, having a car would make it easier. Evolène is the perfect destination for hikers and mountain lovers. The village offers several excellent restaurants serving local and sophisticated dishes. With its famous peaks and unspoiled nature, its traditions and preserved heritage, Evolène is a must-see destination offering varied activities for all ages! In winter the mountain panorama is breath-taking, beneath its blanket of snow. Over 100 km of alpine ski runs, for all categories of skiers, are carefully maintained. In Evolene you ski with panormaic views of the Matterhorn and Dent Blanche. Excursions using snowshoes or helicopter-skiing with mountain guides are available. Two of the best cross-country ski circuits in Central Valais await you amid beautiful scenery, two natural skating-rinks are much appreciated, or try climbing frozen waterfalls. In addition, the 4 Vallées resort with 410 km of slopes is reachable within 30 minutes by car. Summer: splendid alpine peaks include the Dent Blanche, more than 250 km of paths and trails are clearly marked, as are the 100 km of mountain bike trails. Tennis, trout fishing, a fitness circuit, or, for the more adventurous, the newly opened Via Ferrata, the alpine climbing school, paragliding and paintball are available. Many cultural activities are also organised - a visit to the museum in Evolène, guided thematic excursions (geology, glaciology, fauna and flora) and evening concerts, to name but a few.
