You live just a few minutes' walk from the swimming area of the lake and the boat dock, in a central yet quiet location in idyllic Altmünster (420 m above sea level). After an eventful day, relax in the sauna or hot tub and make plans for the evening. In winter you can reach the Feuerkogel ski area in just 15 minutes, where you can make your first carving turns in the freshly prepared snow shortly after the sun rises over the mountain peaks. In the family ski area Hochlecken (Neukirchen bei Altmünster) you benefit from the LED floodlighting system - experience skiing with floodlights. Altmünster is wonderfully idyllic in the middle of the Salzkammergut and has traditionally been part of the Traunviertel. Here you will experience the authentic cultural landscape and - more importantly - the warm hospitality. Gmunden and the picturesque Orth Castle, located on a small island, are just a few minutes away. In the summer you can choose from almost all imaginable sports, while in the winter the ski areas can be reached quickly. Gourmets will get their money's worth in numerous restaurants and pubs.
