Seven charming and cozy villages lie along the Zugspitze on the Austrian side. And every place has a small but nice ski area. Biberwier is located at 1000m above sea level. on the southern edge of the Lermooser Moos, embedded in the mountain slopes through which the Fernpass runs.

Activities nearby: The ski area on Marienberg in Biberwier (1000 - 1800 m above sea level) extends over approx. 12.3 kilometers of slopes and is part of the ski club Tiroler Zugspitz Arena. With its 5 modern lifts, it is the smallest of the seven ski areas in total, but the largest for small slope skiers due to the loving children's area and the many blue slopes. In addition to the mostly wide and easily accessible slopes, a separate route of 1.3 kilometers long attracts advanced skiers for freeriding. And then there are the ski areas in the neighboring municipalities of Lermoos and Ehrwald with a total of more than 50 kilometers of slopes. The Lermooser Moos is also known among cross-country skiers, who use the 110 km of trails between Lermoos and Ehrwald every year and enjoy the enchanting winter landscape.
