This holiday house was designed by an architect who has created a beautiful, sunlit cottage with large picture windows. On the wooden terrace you will find a summer kitchen. Large sliding doors lead to the terrace from the living room. Near the house you will find the nature reserve of Vesterlyng with beautiful sandy beaches and clear water. Havnsø is a small town with a fishing port and a marina and offers ferry connections to Sejerø and Nekselø. The Dragsholm Castle and the galleries of Odsherred are also located nearby. If you take a trip over the big bridge, you can visit the beautiful Funen or the Legoland in Billund.The glacier-like headland of Odsherred creates the impression of being in a Geopark. Along the burial mound street, with the dolmens and grave mounds, you will see remnants of the Stone and Bronze Ages, the remains of an old forest village abandoned 300 years ago in Ulkerup and the Hempel Glass Museum. In the Odsherred Museum you will find a replica of the sun chariot that was discovered in the moors of Trundholm Moses. You can also visit the Näsholm Borg castle that stands on a small island in the lake Nygård Sø, between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. In Odsherred there is also a nature school, where you can catch seafood, go on butterfly safaris and expeditions organised in the forest as well as troll and fox hunts. The nature reserve Hovvig, a reclaimed wetland, is home to a rich bird life. In the Grønnehaveskoven forest there is a fitness trail and a beautiful dog forest. On the Kongeengen meadow you will find the source of Thorskilde, a spring to which magical properties are attributed. In the area there are three marked trails: Sea, Sand and Wind - 16.2 km, Water Birds - 8 km Culture on the coast - 7,5 km away. Your children will be thrilled by a visit to the Odsherred Fire Museum. In Nykøbing Sjælland you can go shopping and enjoy the coffee culture. The harbour in Rørvig also serves as a starting point for seal safaris. You can also see the wonderful farmlands of the island of Funen, on the other side of the bridge over the Great Belt.
