The historic living consists of a 120 year old school house (cottage). 100 years old town hall (apartments) on a wonderful living
with a huge park-like garden and adjoining pasture. Old tree stands, large areas of cultivated lawns and lovely beet beds distribute an intense feel-good atmosphere.
In the midst of untouched nature near the Jadebusen, the holiday home 'alte Schule' with a lot of charm and flair accommodates 1-8 guests. The new apartments in the historic town hall are furnished in a modern style, with wooden floorboards.
Exclusive fitted kitchens, oiled oak furniture and modern bathrooms.
The house extends over 2 levels with a total of 130 sqm. The large south-facing windows provide plenty of light and provide a contemporary view over pastures, meadows, trees and streams.
It is furnished with a separate sleeping area with double bed, spacious living area on the ground floor and 2 separate beds, sofa bed for 2 persons, open kitchen, dining and living area upstairs. The shower room is located on the ground floor. The decor is very stylish. A terrace in the garden with garden furniture is at leisure.
In the hist. City Hall are 2 new apartments and a beautiful spa with sauna and
Jacuzzi, changing room, rest room, toilet and exit to the garden. This spa is available to all guests.
The apartments are for 1-4 persons furnished with an open living-, kitchen- and dining area.
The apartment 'herzmuschel' offers a large room with double bed and sofa bed for 2 persons, the apartment 'samtmuschel' has a bedroom with queen-sized bed and possible child cot and
a small bedroom with two single beds.


From our property you can cycle on the well-developed cycle path network around the Jade Bay on the Wadden Sea and the surrounding villages Jaderberg, Varel, Dangast, etc.

Plenty of cozy country inns, small boutiques and shops and weekly markets with tasty vegetables, meat and fish make the offer for a relaxing holiday. You reach the North Sea beaches in Dangast and Sehestedt in a few minutes.
The maritime city of Bremerhaven, the naval and port city of Wilhelmshaven and the university city of Oldenburg can be reached by car in about 30 minutes.
The animal and leisure park Jaderberg is located in the neighboring municipality Jaderberg.
You can reach the North Sea baths Tossens and Eckwaderhörne in less than half an hour.
Watt walks, salt marshes adventure tours and guided tours through the moor offer nature-friendly excursion possibilities.
Culturally minded tourists will find numerous museums and cultural treasures in the immediate vicinity.
Even the golfers among you will have something to do: near Rastede is a beautifully landscaped golf course.
