Auf 1700m ü. M. am Fusse des Albulapasses gelegen, besteht durch seine stattlichen Patrizierhäuser der Familien Albertini. Das markanteste ist die Chesa Merleda.
Die aus dem 16 und 17 Jahrhundert stammenden Engadiner Bauern und Patrizierhäuser geben dem Doppelort La Punt Chamues-ch einen ganz besonderen Charme. Besonders sehenswert sind die frühgottische Kirche St. Andrea in Chamues-ch mit ihren Malereien und Fresken und die Barockkirche in La Punt, erbaut 1680.
Als zentral gelegener Ort ist La Punt Chamues-ch Ausgangspunkt für anspruchsvolle Bergtouren und leichte Wanderungen. Familien mit Kindern sind gern gesehene Gäste. Sowohl der 18 Loch-Golfplatz in Samedan als auch der 18 Loch-Golfplatz in Zuoz/Madulain sind in 5 Min. erreichbar. Im Winter bietet der Skilift Müsella für Kinder und Anfänger ideale Bedingungen.
