Spacious home with a good standard in a rural environment, but still close to both service and many attractions on the West Coast. You live on the outskirts of Ytterby, with convenient driving distance to nice bathing places and Marstrand and Kungälv. Lovely walking areas and hiking trails are around the house.
The home is located in a detached house, one floor up via a spiral staircase where the owner has a garage on the entrance level. You have your own unobtrusive part of the plot with a large lawn for play and games and a patio where you can enjoy a good meal with a drink.
The apartment is spacious and maintains a good standard for a comfortable holiday. There are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other a family bed with a 120 cm wide lower bed (1-2 people) and an 80 cm wide upper bed. Kitchen with dining area, living room with sofas and TV corner and dining room furniture. Fresh fully tiled bathroom.
The rent also includes a sauna bath in a free-standing wood-fired sauna that can accommodate 4-5 people. Here you can relax and soften stiff muscles.
You live 3 km from Ytterby center with all services, shops and restaurants. Here you can also take a bus or train to Gothenburg if you do not want to drive yourself (27 km), for e.g. a visit to Liseberg, shopping, museums etc. Many sights and charming coastal communities in the immediate area. Do not miss a visit to beautiful Marstrand, 22 km. Marstrand is the sailing coast of the west coast with a bustling life, fortress and royal splendor. Close to service and entertainment in Kungälv, 5 km where you can also visit Bohus fortress with its mighty rock silhouette.
Several good bathing places in the immediate area Lökeberg, 9 km with sandy beach, cliffs and jetty are closest.
If you are craving shopping, the new Kongahälla Center shopping center may attract. The mall has about 100 shops and restaurants and was inaugurated in March 2019. Also do not miss to walk in Guddehjälms bokskog which is a Nature Reserve 2 km from your holiday home.
The owner has three dogs and lives in a detached house about 10-20 m from your home. The home is located about 100 m from the railway tracks, where some freight trains can be heard during the day if you are out.

West coast Bohuslän Warm cliffs, red boat houses, perfect fishing places, water sports and exciting tourist attractions are just some out of many experiences that Bohuslän on the Swedish west coast can offer you. There are a lot of activities for families with children. For instance you can visit an amusement park or a zoological park, exciting fortresses or museums where you can explore and experience.
Bohuslän has its own beautiful archipelago. Go visiting the Koster islands in the northern part of Bohuslän where you can enjoy the beautiful nature on your rented bicycle. You can also travel by boat to Bohuslän from Strømstad, a nice town, especially during the summer.
Sotenäs municipality consists of both large and small communities. Smögenbryggan is the most famous tourist attraction in the area. People from near and far come in order to see the lively boat traffic, shop in the stores and enjoy a nice meal in the cosy restaurants nearby.
Lysekil is situated in the outermost part of the boat harbour, and even if you stay in the centre of the town, the water and the boats are always quite near. A walk in Gamlestan is also worth experiencing.
The Skaftø peninsula is now known as the “salt island”, Saltøen, thanks to the Swedish television series of the same name. Picturesque places like e.g. Fiskebäckskil, Grundsund and Rågårdsvik are all well-attended in the summer.
At Törn and Orust there are nice bays and a beautiful nature. There are a lot of boats, and from Tjörn into the archipelago you can go on different boat trips. The short distance to Göteborg makes a day trip to Liseberg perfect.
